Business Development Manager (BDM) – Digital Marketing

At ICRIT Infotech, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager for Digital Marketing, with a specific focus on Microsoft and Zoho products, to join our innovative company which provides services in BI development/Data Science/Analytics Solutions, IT training Courses, Web Development, 2D Graphic Designing & App Development. We also resell All Microsoft Softwares, Microsoft Hardwares as a registered Microsoft Reseller Partner(with MPN ID) and Zoho products.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, developing and executing strategic sales plans, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will promote our IT Training Courses, the software/hardware products that we resell, and the cutting-edge digital transformation solutions tailored for business productivity and customer engagement.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth and market expansion across our Microsoft and Zoho partner ecosystem, while also supporting our core IT solutions and training initiatives. We’re launching our own LMS platform and expanding our digital services reach to offer corporate training and enterprise software enablement.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the value of BI, Data Science & Analytics Solutions, business automation, digital collaboration tools, and IT training courses, and can align these solutions with client goals across various industries.

Responsibilities

Client Acquisition: Identifying, qualifying, and engaging with potential clients, including SMEs, corporates, and education institutions looking to improve productivity through Microsoft products, Zoho products and our own IT solutions & training courses.

Needs Assessment: Understanding client needs and challenges, and mapping them to relevant products (like MS Azure, Teams, Outlook, Power BI) and Zoho tools (like Bigin, Business Email, Projects etc).

Solution Selling: Effectively communicating the value of our company’s offerings including Microsoft Power BI analytics, Tableau, Google Looker, Python, R solutions, Zoho Business Email Configuring, Web Development, App Development etc.

Relationship Building: Fostering trust-driven, long-lasting client relationships to ensure recurring business and referrals.

Sales Pipeline Management: Managing and prioritizing Zoho and Microsoft product sales opportunities using CRM tools.

Negotiation and Closing Deals: Negotiating price and contract discussions to close deals aligned with Microsoft/Zoho partner programs.

Market Analysis: Keeping a pulse on how businesses are adopting collaborative platforms, CRMs, and analytics tools in different industries.

Team Collaboration: Working with technical consultants, digital marketers, and product teams to present a unified and effective sales approach.

Performance Monitoring: Setting KPIs related to solution demos, product trials, conversions, and customer onboarding success.

Market Intelligence: Staying updated on competitive offerings from other SaaS providers, and the evolving Microsoft and Zoho ecosystem.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A certification or MBA with a focus on Digital Marketing or SaaS product sales is an advantage.

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in B2B technology sales, with a strong preference for those who have worked with Microsoft/Zoho products, or similar platforms, and selling of BI/Data Science/Analytics Solutions & Training courses.

Technical Skills: Hands-on familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools, Zoho mail, Zoho Bigin, Power BI dashboards, and business digitisation/automation platforms. Understanding of CRM workflows and lead scoring models is a plus.

Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of how cloud productivity and CRM tools are transforming business workflows. Familiarity with Edtech, SaaS, and SMB transformation challenges is a plus.

Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to present value-focused proposals and build rapport with business decision-makers.

Team Leadership: Experience mentoring or leading junior sales or marketing associates is a plus.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess client processes and suggest the right blend of Microsoft and Zoho tools for seamless improvement.

Adaptability: Willingness to stay agile and proactive in a high-paced, evolving sales environment.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

Day-to-day responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

Client Meetings: Conducting discovery meetings with clients to understand business workflows and demonstrate how Microsoft or Zoho products can streamline operations.

Proposal Preparation: Drafting tailored proposals highlighting benefits such as automation, productivity, and integration with third-party tools.

Market Research: Keeping tabs on vertical-specific use cases (e.g., how educational institutions can use Microsoft Teams or how SMEs use Zoho Bigin for sales automation).

Sales Calls: Reaching out to leads from campaigns, webinars, website and referrals to schedule demos or consultations.

Contract Negotiation: Closing sales with transparent, mutually beneficial terms that align with Microsoft and Zoho reseller pricing and incentive models.

Team Meetings: Coordinating with marketing and technical teams to ensure sales messaging is aligned and onboarding processes are smooth.

Expected Salary: Based on Experience and Performance. There will be regular monthly sales targets and monthly performance appraisals for the BDM
